Two weeks ago I lectured at my alma mater, the University of Chicago, about my book, Hate the Game: Economic Cheat Codes for Life, Love, and Work. I was amazed by the turnout, as hundreds of attendees from the UChicago community filled the room, with many others standing at the back. It was a delight to meet fans of my work, including a group of Black women law students who shared that they had organized a book club to discuss Hate the Game.
